Maybe tell us a bit more about your project, so far it looks like a documentary...?
Why did you choose these shots?
The teachers skin tons are greenish, but not "stylish" green more a sick green, her face isnīt exposed properly - this shot looks like it came from a mobile phone, no offence...
The second grab looks like retouched in PS, with way to much pink in the skin tones and a lot of smoothing or glow going on, not very documantary at all...
The blown out highlights also seem to have no reason to be there like eg windows or practicals might have...
All in all the XL2 can do better...
Sorry to be so rude, maybe a little more insight in your project will clear up things...
Best,
Spart

jup, this would be a crazy look if it would be a documentary.....but it is a short film and therefore it was not the aim to give it a docu look.
in this special scene the cc should stress the difference between the teacher and the students. and yeah...if the teacher looks sick for you....then everything is perfect...that was the exact aim. ;)
in contrast to that the second grab should look very warm and soft.
it maybe a bit too much but i really liked the created fealing...
here is the original raw-frame...maybe you can show me how you would cc it? :)
btw: sorry for my not so perfect english skills...

Just minor adjustments.Correcting the skin tone, relighting the face and a little bit of tinting to match the teacher (even though I still believe that teacher shot looks crappy...)
Basically if this is a dramatic piece, Iīd prefer a more intentional lighting.
Have you used any lights at all or only available light?
Also seperating the subjects through different color shemes in ONE scene will only look like they are not in th same place.
(BTW my english ainīt that good either, so hopefully we get it right;o) )
Edit: just read you wanted the girl warm and soft, well it really depends on what you are trying to bring across, adjusting a single frame without knowing the context really wil be arbitrary...
