DVD Question

I recently purchased a pack of Sony DVD-R. Whenever I put one of these DVD's into my Sony DVD burner, it says that the DVD is Read-Only. This is the same pack of DVD's that I have been purchasing, the only difference is that this pack now has a thing called AccuCore on it. What is that and would that make the DVD's Read Only on my burner? Does anyone know how I can get around this? Thanks.

I'm not sure what accucore is, but I have seen it on some dvd's purchased for me. They worked fine, but I believe I remember reading a link in another thread that broke down the reliable dvd's for burning. One's with accucore were not ranked to high.
