i have a light that used to mount on another camera and just had a few questions concerning it.

I got it a while back and havent gotten around to use it. Everyone mentions camera lights but i never see anything over 30watts. Ofcourse mine is powered by its own battery pack.

What do most of you think of a Camera Mount Light thats 100watts? Is it too much light? i tested it and most ppl would kinda panic as soon as they saw it pointed at them. :undecided Its a Smith Victor camera light with 4 doors.

Thats workable. Carry plenty of diffusion, some ctb and cto at all times.

Get a frezzi light. The one I've worked with came with a dichroic filter which would be great for daylight shots and also lessen the intensity.

CTO (Color Temperature Orange) and CTB (Color Temperature Blue) refer to gels used to convert the perceived white color of your light to match other types of lighting sources.

CTB gels would be used to convert tungsten lighting to daylight, whereas CTO gels would convert daylight to tungsten.

And diffusion is basically a paper material (designed for photography) that lessens / evens the light.
