Check out this beast. It came in one of my emails from tigerdirect. I haven't checked up on it too much, but dang, that is a beast of a hdtv for the price.

I'd spend the extra $400 to $600 and go Mitsubishi. No question.

Oh, I don't think they're necessarily BAD, per se, though I haven't been wowed.
Unlike I have been with Mitsubishi, which in my opinion makes the best RP HDTVs out there. The Mitses aren't that much more than the JVCs, so it's a no-brainer, IMO.
I've been eyeing a BEE-YOO-TI-FUL Mits 73" 1080p DLP for about $3500, with inputs like you wouldn't believe and a built-in DVR. That's less than what I paid for my 1080i 55" Mits in 2001, which has only component DTV inputs, no DVR, no display of 720p (upconverts everything).
