im starting up my third attempt because my other ones the script was lousy. but this one is, in my and my cast/crew's opinions, a masterpiece. im really looking forward to filming this before the due date and getting everything done on time, and under budget.

hah this time i have REAL actors and stuff, so im pretty excited!

dont have a title yet but im thinking really hard. and this movie deals with lots of racial discrimination.

Deli,
What all are you planning to do to your footage in post? Is there a specific look you'll be going for?

dunno man, my m2 was broken at the time so i had to film with a half working m2, so i was less focused on getting my look in camera which is what i ALWAYS do. so im not sure. color correction has always been hard for me, and i think this is ognna be the biggest challenge. especially this one scene that we shot over two different days. one day with lights, the other (two shots) with out... we shall see

i liked this film, liked the morals and the thinking. Nice work, well done.
Thank you.

EDIT: Would also like to add, that a couple o times thought the acting was a bit crud, but only in a couple o places. I liked the fact that the guy told the principal to go f*** himself, basically and carried on doing what he believed in. Should always be the way...........ie do what you think is right etc etc etc.

Dude, your movie fucking ruled.

I too think the acting could have used work, but really nothing some more rehearsal couldn't cure, just to get them feeling relaxed and secure enough to let it fly.

But I am genuinely impressed with how much story you got into 6 min, and that it was an actual story, with a set-up, stakes, characters, all of it. I was on the edge of my seat.

And I love the moment where the principal stands up, points and calls out: "Mr. Norris!"

I think the adapter did you a disservice though. Those things are very persnickity, and I think, for instance in the case of my movie, we were going for a real Hollywood glamour look that you can only get with lenses. But for your film, very real, very raw, I think you would have been better off without it. Except in CHOICE shots. Your story and characters were powerful enough that you didn't need to mess with it, in my view. You need a ton of light to make those adapters work well, and it seemed like a lot of the time you didn't have enough. And when I say a ton of light, I mean, we were shooting with 1Ks and 650s indoors to get a good, crisp image.

Anyway, really, really good work. You created one of the true dramas in thie fest, in my opinion. It reminds me of Norm's movie, with real characters, real character action, good stuff.

Oh, you're in Jerz? Didn't you make Buffalo Sampson? Was that you?
