Editing XH A1 Footage In Final Cut Express HD?

Anyone have any experience editing XH A1 footage in Final Cut Express HD? Are there any issues? Thinking about getting an XH A1 and wanna know if I'll need to upgrade Final Cut or if Express will do for the time being.

I was under the impression that FCE has limitations as far as fps options are concerned?

I doubt Express will properly capture 24F...or possibly 30F too. It won't understand how to capture the progressive sequence.

With the new full support for Canon HDV in the latest FCP, it's well worth upgrading to if you can swing it.
