Hi!
Can someone kindly explain what this button means? In the manual very little is explained.

Hi Caitya. If you are using one of the auto-exposure modes you can push Exposure Lock to freeze the current settings. This is a great feature and I use it all the time.
Normally, I use Tv mode and let the camera set the aperture, and with exposure compensation of -0.5 stops this is good enough for many shots. However, sometimes there is an area of the subject that is a bit dark or a bit bright for my liking. In that case, I will lock the exposure and then adjust the aperture until the exposure looks correct.
The Exposure Lock button also displays the current shutter and aperture settings on the EVF which is handy too.
