So I'm editing some A1 footage in Vegas 7, and when I stopped the footage and looked at some different frames I saw interlace lines. I realize that I'm shooting in 1080i, but I thought 24F was supposed to be progressive. Is there a setting that I have on (or off) wrong?

What's your timeline in Vegas? If you're editing in a 1080/60i timeline then Vegas itself will be creating the interlace lines. Make sure you set your project to 1080, progressive, 23.98fps.

I've been getting interlace lines too when I import as SD in Vegas. No clue what is up with it. Are you looking at SD?

I havn't had any interlace line problems within vegas. If I shoot 24F, and edit in a 1080 24P timeline everything is frame accurate.

I'm going to try the new template and report back. I'm sure it will solve the problem. Thanks.
EDIT: It worked. They're gone! Thanks, guys.

That was my experience as well.

It's only when I import it using Vegas. If I use ConnectHD everything is perfect.
