shot transition!!!

does the A1 have shot transition option like the Sony cams!!!

The nearest it has is focus preset and zoom preset, nowhere near as versatile or flexible as the Sonys. The A1 only has a single motor for zoom and focus, so it can't adjust both at the same time.

thanks man, but does it mean that i can do focus poller by choosing two key frames with ease in and out!!!

You can set a focus point and then adjust the focus onto something else. Then by puliing a slider on the lens the focus will return to the point that you set previously. There are 2 problems with the way this is implemented (in my opinion). First is that it is too easy to disturb the shot when you activate the slider (you have to push the button and slide it at the same time, which can induce a bit of judder if you are not very careful). Second is that the focus change happens too quickly, even at the slowest speed.

The focus pulling limitation, to me, is the biggest downside of the A1.

I've never actually used my remote control, so cannot answer this one. Maybe someone else can help?
