i thought this was perfect for what im asking. obviulsy i dont have a super steady hand, and i shake a lot while recording. much like the image obove.

im trying to undertand motion tracking to stabablize my movement. can anyone help me. thanks

like which points do you track too? do it in ae? is it better with the blur, or without the blur.

using a dvx100, with the camera shake. when tracked correctly will it elimainate the blur that comes from camera jerks.

hope thats clear

the blur is probably due to the shutter speed set on the camera. the slower the shutter speed, the more blur you'll have because the shutter is open longer for light to come into the CCD's.

stabilizing footage has never been fun....i'm better at motion tracking than stablizing. maybe someone else here can help you out.

Don't get motion tracking and stabilizing mixed up because in After Effects they are 2 different things.
