Hi, I'm new to the hvx200 but have been filming for some time (sony products mainly). Unfortunatly my cam was delivered late and I now have 2-3 days to learn this baby before going on a shoot to Iceland (landscape shootings). I have also got the fs100.

My question is, can anyone give me a quick lowdown on how to do timelapse stuff using the fs100 and the hvx200's interval record mode (is this right?).

Any other quick tips for a newb would be very helpful too. For example, how do I view the raw files from my fs100, I tried the p2 player, but it wont register the fs100 as a p2 card, so to speak.

Thanks, Jay.

Do a search of the boards. BenB has already posted this.

Basically, set your FS-100 in its timelapse mode (check out its menu structure because it's there and is also referenced in documentation). Do not set the HVX for any time lapse mode but just set up for FS-100 recording (1394 EXT). After setting up your FS-100 for timelapse, just press record button on the HVX.

Is there enough daylight this time of year in Iceland to shoot?

Thanks Ned, starting to get the hang of everything now. Yea, there is a bit of light here and there but the main reason for going is to party :) anything we can film will be a bonus (northern lights hopefully).

Thanks again, Jay.
