I'm working on pre-pro for a short set in the desert southwest that involves a number of twilight and fire-light scenes with two characters at a campsite. I'd love any thoughts or suggestions on lighting strategies for this look given the low-light quirks of the HVX. We have access to sophisticated color correction, so I'm leaning toward overexposing everything and pulling it back in post, but if you think there's a good way to do it in-camera with fewer foot-candles, I'm all ears...
Thanks in advance!
