Hi, I have an HVX 200 w/ fs-100. I don't have any p2 cards. Will the frame rate hack to get 2fps record the extra frames out over firewire to the fs-100 similar to the other variable frame rates? If so I'm going to pick up an SD card. Also, how big, file size, are the scene files...do I need a 1GB SD card or am I good with 256mb? thanks!

Yes.
And scene files are tiny; you'd be fine with an 8mb card.

to bad you can't find a card that is less than 256 or 512

Circuit City had a special going on... 1GB card for $24.95 with a $10 mail in rebate...total $14.95...cheapest I could find in any store.

to bad you can't find a card that is less than 256 or 512Why is that bad? A smaller card is of no advantage, and the price difference would be laughable -- it wouldn't be worth your time to try to track down such a card.
