I assume that the majority of users on this site do not have obscene amounts of cash laying around to purchase fancy film equipment. With this in mind I present the website http://www.instructables.com (http://www.instructables.com/) where users create open source step by step instructions on how to build an assortment of fabulous devices. In particular, I would like to direct your attention to the Film and Video Group (http://www.instructables.com/group/film/) where already 15 projects reside. Here everything from a fig rig and deadcat to a boompole and pan/tilt crane can be found. In addition, it would help to increase everyone's knowledge if you as an intelligent guerrilla filmmaker would help to contribute your tips and creations to share with the world.
Give a little, get a lot. Its a nice way to live...
