Since the camera is new and most people havent recieved it in the mail yet, it has been hard (for me atleast) to find footage. I have decided i would make this thread as a place to simply post the footage thats circulating the net currently.

Simply gorgeous. Someone posted from my office because I am in holidays. And I thought it was Canon XHA1 related but it would be impossible regarding the noise free performance.

Actually these are amazing and very clean. If possible how about some night/dusk shots. BTW were these Interlaced or 25P (as I assume this is the PAL version)?

Emanuel cant see your comparison on low light there as these shots are not low light anyway. Looks pretty good overall for those short clips the hillside seemed a bit milky? Maybe the settings. One thing I did notice pretty clearly was the kind of strange halo underneath the sun in the sunset clip, I know you would expect something here, but it just doesnt seem organic but more processed to me.

ncje, Sony is cleaner IMHO. I wouldn't say all Canon images but a lot of them have noise. And not just at low light. Even if I have mentioned the Michael (Pappas) examples (ex. Moviehouse and Bakery clips) 'cause those were effectively clean/noiseless at my eyes.
