Hey guys

I don't know if this question has been slaughtered to death, I had no help searching for it

I shot something in 720 24PN mode - I need to get this thing into the 29.97 dimension. Am I royally skrewed?

thanks

No.

Going from 23.98/24 to 29.97/30 is inverse pulldown, and common. In fact, if you are talking about putting together a DVD, you can create a NTSC DVD with a framerate of 23.98, and the DVD player will perform the inverse pulldown for you and play it as 29.97 video.

What NLE and other tools do you have at your disposal? You should be able to render out a 29.97 version with no problem.

Seems to be making a little more sense, I am using FCP

can i just output a quicktime 29.97 movie?

Yeah, you should be able to with no prob. If you need to find out how, ask in the FCP section.
