I'm having trouble importing my footage from my FS-100 to FPC 5.0.4. I shot the video in HD50 720p at 30fps and used the Raw DV setting on the FS-100 to capture. My video looks like a bunch of multi-colored blocks when played in QT:crybaby:. When I try to import the video in FPC I the follow in error message say that a P2 volume cant be found.

What is HD50 720p?
Did you organize p2 before trying to import?

There is no HDPRO 50. Did you shoot in DVCPRO50 or DVCPRO HD?

Sorry! DVCPRO50 720P at 30fps using the DV RAW format rather then P2. According to the FS-100 user manual you can use either format. When I play the files in quicktime the video is scrambeled

You can not shoot DVCPro50 at 720p. DVCPro50 is a standard def format at 480.
Regardless of format, if you shoot DV Raw, you have to use software that specifically requires, or can read, DV Raw format. P2 and DV Raw are NOT the same thing. Organize P2 will not do anything if you shoot "DV Raw." Not sure what software would be needed to be able to read DV Raw and convert it to DVCPRO-HD, you'd have to contact Focus or do a web search. But you really do want to stay away from DV Raw on the FS-100 unless you have a specific need by your NLE software for it. FCP doesn't do DV Raw, as far as I know.
As for this specific issue, the format, SD or HD has nothing to do with solving the problem. DV Raw is DV Raw, regardless, and that's the only thing at issue here.

You need to get this down.
DVCPro 50 NOT shot at 720p.
That is a HD resolution.
Help us out with correct information.
I think it's blantatly obvious he's shooting DVCPRO-HD. That's the only format you can do 720p30 in. Duh! Not to mention that it has nothing to do with his problem.
