Flimsy component cable

So I think my component cable is on the fritz. I use the Marshall HD monitor and notice that the red signal has been cutting in and out. I will have to twist the cable on the back of the monitor in order for it to come back in.

Do I have to replace this with the orginal Panasonic cable? I was hoping there was a better, stronger solution out there that wouldn't break down after 100 uses...
