Apple Digital Cinema V.S. broadcast monitor???

Can anyone that has both a Apple 20 inch or bigger and a broadcast monitor tell me what they think. Are they worlds apart? Is getting the Apple V.S. other brand displays going make a actual difference as far as color correction to internet and DVD? Apple with Apple is not always better, in photo post-production you would rather go lacie or izzo? I would love to hear from someone that has done actual A/B tests.

As stated: The only standard is a calibrated broadcast monitor with a dedicated AJA/Blackmagic videocard.

An Apple monitor with the digital cinema desktop preview is a better proxie than most.

The reason for an apple panel is a calibration issue, not that the apple panels are generally the best.

QT and FCP works like they are supposed to -;)
