Impresive Cam

Got a chance to use the A1 on a Live concert shoot along side My HD 100 and Z1u.

Hmmm... Quite an impresive little bugger this cam is.

It thought the image was better than both these cams especially considering the low light factor. I did not have a chance to delve into any settings,.

The image was spectaclular providing that I didn't boost the gain.

The resolution is truly the best I have scene on this level cam and the DVX100 like form factor. Unlike the Sony V1u which is just to small even though the image is beautiful to be taken seriously by the client. I love the hidden battery and switchblade LCD screen.

I am curious to see what this cam looks like during the day.

The price is awesome... This HD high tech war is so cool.

Canon is going to do well with this cam.

Couldn't agree with you more! But when you get into the internal features of the camera, that's when you really get a glimpse of what this monkey can do.

I have to agree. This camera can take such amazing picture once you dive into the features, manual settings, etc. Man I love this camera :)

Can't you all start posting some of your miracles...please.. footage.. image grabs...specially if you have cameras from other brands... what are you using for editing HDV...
