Hello I am considering getting this product to copy video from DVD's for my company. I have a couple of questions.

1. Can I make .avi files that premiere can edit like it was a mini dv file? Any specific settings I should choose.
2. Can I make .mov files that Final Cut Pro can edit like it was a mini dv file? Any specific settings I should choose.
3. Anyone ever copy files into a PC as .mov files and then transfer them to A mac to edit them in Final Cut Pro. I am thinking of doing this so I can edit on the mac and capture on the PC.
4. Will these files run in realtime in Premiere or Final Cut Pro?

I use it all the time it is a real user friendly product as long as the dvd is not incirpted you can rip it and theres serval settings i save the ripped video as quicktime
