Slow Motion in 5.1.2 Issues

Hey guys, I shot 720p/60p Capture into FCP and need to slow a clip down to like to like 30%. I am editing in a 60p timeline, and when I CMND+J and change, it shows a dffernt part of hte clip AND is just a frame of it.

Just bizzare, HELP. Also if there is a better way to slow down the footage I would love to know.

Have you tried resetting your preferences? Otherwise, for slow mo stuff I believe Twixtor is the most popular way to go with FCP. If the Apple + J shortcut isn't working you could try the menubar or filters tab for the time remap. Might just be something going haywire w/ the shortcut perhaps? Good luck.
