I worked on this video for the company I work for. It's a promotion video for kid's for school fundraisers (much like, Captain Fundraiser) and it's all animation stuff... Herman Witkam did the music and sound design as well! It's kinda cute. Enjoy!

Well I don't know. I tried to watch this at work and it wouldn't download. At home here I tried to watch it and it locks up all over for no apparent reason. I'm going to try on my laptop next. Anybody else having problems? or is it just me.
So I right click and save as then play the file and quicktime generated errors for the first time ever! And yet I see Chucks had no problems...WTF. Guess I'll try another machine.
Ok I see, My desktop only saved a 5mb file for some reason, The laptop is downloading a 71.5 mb file...Weird. I will get to watch it soon.

Yeah, it's like 70 megs. Reason it's so large of a file is this was what I sent to THE BOSS for approval, so it had to look pretty good, and have great audio :)
Well I can't identify with the message and find it ultimately sad that children today are being called upon to try to earn money in their spare time to help fund their school as I see education as the main building block of a worthwile future. Technically it was fine but the overall message didn't sit well with me. Don't get me wrong, If i were selling an idea like this, I would very much short list you after having seen this but I probably wouldn't like myself much were I trying to sell the plan. I'm sitting here and thinking "Man... this is the time a little eye contact and body gestures would help one to understand what I'm saying here"....The work rocks, I have issues with those that put you up to it:)

No gripe with the file size, I'm always prepared to wait a little longer for a better view and a little audio presence, and the quality even full screen was very good.

Thanks for watching! What didn't you like about the message? Schools here (public) don't get any kind of government funding for activities outside the immediate curriculam. Therefore, schools need exterior fundraisers to help with things like music programs, field trips, playground equipment, etc. Anyway, thanks again for watching :)
What I didn't like is more than likely stemming from a weakness of knowledge in this area. In my fantasy world, Kids should get funding for music programs, field trips, etc. Sometimes I get a little pissed that my perfect world doesn't exist... I probably should have kept my personal feeling out of it, but then anything I said would have been untrue or angled somehow.

Brandon,
I liked it a lot. I thought it was very professionally done and it had a great sense of humor. Herman did a fantastic job with the music and sound design, it really made the whole thing come together.

I'm totaly outvoted...I showed to my GF who says I'm nuts and that the video is perfect and I should get off my little cloud. I guess she would know seeing as how she works with kids all day.

I think it's fine for what it is; it's just the right amount of cheesy and looks very professional.
The beginning is a little repetitive, though. I'd go for the meat of the message sooner.

Hey Brandon
Nice work.
This reminds me something you would see for kids on Saturday morning .
Complaint
I thought this was a little too long and the announcer got on my nerves after a bit other than that Brandon this would fit right into a Saturday morning slot .
