I know it's a bit early, but with my work schedule and filming and every other damn thing you can think of...
I finally got up to see my parents for the holidays. I think I knocked this one out of the park. My mom got a ton of watercolor paint, brushes, paper, etc. She's gotten into painting. She was thrilled. Finally I was able to get something for the person you cannot get anything for.
My dad got a really nice, well made bull-whip. He had one in college and another when I was little. As kids will do, I got a hold of it and destroyed it. Anyway, I was able to find a replacement for the one I destroyed and you should have seen his face. Like a little kid he was.
Best for last though, my dad gave me his Glycine Airman watch he bought in 1965 and wore the entire time he was in the service. IF you are unfamiliar with this company, the started making watches for airmen in '52 I believe. The neat thing about this watch is it has a 24 hour face. The hour hand only goes around one time a day.
All in all, this was the best Christmas ever.
