Needed: Video Locations

I am from New York, and looking for a house to shoot a music video. I have searched the nyc film making website as well as a few location scout websites. All of which need you to have a 1,000,000 dollar insurance policy (I do not have that)

Anybody know how to get passed that? (i have heard something about signing up with a major production company may work, but I really do not know where to begin.)

Also if anyone has a location in the tri state area that is a house or house like that can be used for shooting the last weekend of January that would be great. We have a limited budget, but you will be compensated.

hey, I just read a thread about getting insurance about a week or two ago. people were discussing options and it seemed that depending on the shoot, insurance for a day was running between 400-1000. if you are planning on compensating someone for their space, you might consider spending some of that money towards insurance and trying to get a cheaper place in liue of having insurance.
Just a thought.
