Spent some hours today modelling this:
It's my Squier Stratocaster with some lousy textures:

hey thats good work!
The only tip I would say is make the texture of wood smaller, because at the moment it looks like if the object is very small.

Its looking even better, but now its got that "repeating tile" effect that is common result of using tiling textures over a large area, what you need to do is add some "Chaos" and randomness to beak up that "tiled" effect.

It can create massive natural looking textures from even a single small texture.

Miniman...Goin back to scale for a sec, I would suggest adding some elements to the shot to give reference to the guitars size. Maybe lean it against an amp, or put it on a guitar stand?
