I've been hearing a lot lately that for those who plan on blowing up their HD image through projection (for festivals and what-not) that lowering the sharpness of the image seems to be the norm.
I was trying to get the best-resolution out of the camera that I could before video noise became an issue, and I believe I found a good point... but now people are telling me that my image looks too "video-like" and that it is too sharp looking.
To anyone who has used an adapter... MovieTube, P&S Teknik, M2 or whatever... do you find that the image would appear too sharp?
I figure that I'm using Panavision Ultraspeeds and the original characteristics of the lens are going to shine through on video... why not turn up the sharpness and get the clearest image you can (while not running into bleeding or ghosting problems, of course).
I shared these images in the "Footage" forum, but will re-post here as an example:

This was a quick lighting test to see what the camera could pull off, and after some tweaking, I was rather impressed with the results.
What do you guys think? Keep it this sharp and see what the HVX can do as-setup-now with the Panavision lenses, or turn down the sharpness and go the supposedly tried-and-true way of being able to blow up the image?
