Question on Lenses...

I see a lot of people asking about using 35mm adapters with JVC cameras. I'm a newb here, but doesn't the camera allow for the attachment of lenses?

Why would one need a 35mm adapter on the JVCs? I thought this was a big selling point for this camera.

Maybe someone can enlighten me?

The lens can be removed and a 35mm mount put in it's place. That's alot less glass to go through than a permanently mounted lens setup. Also there are alot of options futher than 35mm mounts. It's just more to choose from.
