I know this has probably been discussed a zillion times, but I looked to no avail...
How do I get my 24f timeline in FCP to a nice looking DVD?

Export using compressor. Choose "dvd best quality 90 minutes 16:9" dbl click on the mpeg 2 section that comes up ... depending on how long the film is, you can up the bit rate to 7.6 average and 9.0 maximum. Then look at "rate" under "video format" and make sure it's 23.98.
Good Luck.

DCCowan, your dvd player will add pulldown to conform to the ntsc stream, so it can be viewed on a television. Or if it's a progressive television, it will leave it alone and display the 24 frames.
