Hello,

I'm having problems with Edius 4.1 audio. When I print to tape and create a file the audio is very hot and distorted. I'm using ProCoder Express inside Edius. It doesn't matter what codec I use. I'm using Canopus HX-E1 and monitoring on a HDTV. Audio playback on the HDTV is fine, no problems, good levels. I've check the audio mixer and project settings in Edius. It must be a small item that I am overlooking. I've used Edius 3 with no problems and just recently update to Edius 4. Any ideas? I'm purchasing ProCoder 2 soon. Do you think that would fix the audio?

Thanks

try exporting a wav file only and try playing that if its still distorted.

Teddybear,

I exported the wav file and it is not distorted. I'm going to use Sound Forge to tweek it. Now, I want to use Ulead DVD Workshop 2 to author a DVD. How would you go about syncing the video and audio together? In the past, my file had both in one file. I don't think that Workshop will do that. I do have After Effects & Premier but I wanted to use Edius 4. Any suggestions? I like workflows with the least amount of steps as possible.
