Can any one point me to a link or chart that gives 35mm equivalents for the dvx 100?

Thanks

www.panavision.co.nz go to the Knowledgebase, they have a few online calculators that will help you in building your chart

35mm movie lens equivalent, or 35mm still camera lens equivalent?

For 35mm still camera equiv's, multiply the DVX focal length by 7.2 (so the wide-angle 4.5mm becomes about 32.5, and the telephoto 45mm becomes about 325mm).

For 35mm movie camera equivalents, multiply the DVX focal length by 4.2, so wide-angle equiv is 18.9mm.

Thanks. Very helpful. Will the camera allow you to display the
mm on the screen as opposed to the barrel. On screen you just see from 0-99.

No, but somewhere on this board someone printed a chart that tells you exactly what the mm to Z settings are.
