View Full Version : the differences between dvx100 and dvx100a

we are about to making our first long film and we are thinking about buying the dvx100a,we already checked it but we never check the dvx100,the film will be screened on a big screen and will be combined in a music show
also there are many shots that will be taken on dark places
please let us know if there are any important differences between those two models

If you are going to the big screen, consider the anamorphic adapter instead of squeezing in post. The 100A has better 24p and 24pa capabilites and these will show up better on the big screen. The cinegamma and other settings are different as well. Search this site as there are plenty of comparison posts.
