Hi guys,
after so many people had read my wax-gg tutorial I promised I will post some new tuts here.

Maybe someone needs a cheap achromatic diopter to save some cash for his first 35mm adapter. Then have a look here:

This actually works rather well. I was able to pick up a Zeiss achromat from a pair of binoculars about 8 months ago or so and it worked great. Zeiss binocs are fairly expensive though, but you can get decent optics out of Bushnell's or other brands.

Do not get any of the cheap binoculars with the "ruby" coating.
It creats a hellacious red flair (which can be used for great artistic effect, if that's what you want...)
