can i just clean the top of the viewfinder. and what about the lens, can i clean the front ?
i'm not gonna do anything untill i'm sure i'm not gonna damage anything ;D
i've just recently got the cam but the front has some spots on it, i don't see them when shooting or during capture, but i still want to clean it off course.

I use a soft dry cloth (like the one you get with your sunglasses) and clean very gently (both the viewfinder and lens), wiping the small amount of dust that gets on there during usage in normal in-outside conditions. I hadn't have any big stains or spots or sand, so I figure why bother with liquids and stuff. I have also heard that not all lens cleaning liquids really help you. Some of them leave bigger stains than before the cleaning. I didn't use it so I have no experience.
Enjoy and keep pressing that record button,

You can confidently use the mositure in ur breath...to help gently wipe out any such spots. However, u have to ensure that u DO NOT use anything other than a really soft cloth. even in the sunglass cases, some are not that soft.
best of luck
