Hey all...
I've got an opportunity to pick up a "30 lcd T.V. for cheap, and I was just wondering if I could edit on it? would the resolution hold up?
Right now I'm running my powermac through two crappy dell 21" crt monitors... would it be better than what I'm on now?

What inputs does the monitor support?

No...keep your CRTs.

Monitor supports inputs needed, but I'm not sure if the resolution would be better/worse than what I'm working with now.
Mike, care to evaluate?
From what I'm seeing, most 30" LCD televisions have 1280 x 768 resolution, and my CRT's support much higher... but, I looked at my display settings, and my resolution is set to 1280 x 960 right now.
I know next to nothing about monitors and resolution's, etc, so if someone could explain it a little better, I'd really appreciate it.

I'm looking at a 23" LCD HDTV right that I've got hooked up via DVI. It looks like crap. My Mac says that it's sending a 1280x768 signal, but it looks soft, the contrast and vibrancy are way off (even after calibrating it). LCD TVs are designed to show TV images, not detailed computer displays.
1280x960 is a pretty comfortable resolution, and you're getting decent screen space out of your two CRTs, so if I were you, I wouldn't even consider a 30" LCD (unless it's an Apple or Dell).

Thanks. Yeah... I think I'll wait till I can afford the Apple.
