I have a clip where the speaker turns his head away from the mike. I have moved the volume to the highest point. Is there away to add gain as in Adobe Premiere?
Thanks

While this is a canopus thread, im also a premier user, so just right click on your audio clip on the premier timeline and you'll find "gain".

The audio gain I am looking for is for Edius not Premeire. But I was thinking about saving the audio clip and importing to Premiere and fixing it there. Just was hoping there was a way to boost the volume in Edius Broadcast.

Volume can be increased in edius. On the timeline you can increase it and add keyframes. You can increase the volume by expanding the clip's info by clicking the arrow below the clip's name. You'll see a garyed out box named "mix", click it to activate the clip volume track, the clip by default has a keyframe at the in-point. you can click anyware along the orange line on the clip to make a volume keyframe, a nice feature not found in premier, you can press "alt" while dragging the keyframe up or down to adjust volume for the ENTIRE track.
I cant find the gain function, unlike in premier. But the equalizer filter can be used instead.
The last project i did, i actually edited the video in edius and i exported each track of audio for final dolby 5.1 encoding in premier pro, which supports a lot of audio filters, including 5.1 surround sound.
Hope this helps
