I am working some ideas spawned from Killer DV Rigs book, and some directions say to cut a long, smooth slot in aluminum, first drill series of holes, overlapping, then file down the rough teeth created.
Is there a better way? I have a plunge router, is it possible to find a bit that would cut thin aluminum sheets/bars? Some kind of roto-zip file-toothed bit or something?
Anybody have any other ideas?
