In the Sony marketing stuff and in Douglas Spotted Eagle's first look article, they mention, "if you want to match a specific film look, it's not very hard to do, as the camcorder uses a 3D color Look Up Table (LUT)."
Can somebody clarify what a LUT is? Has any camera ever used this feature before? It's the first time I've heard of it. Will it offer more image custumization than, say, the HVX?
