Brand New MAC Pro and I just don't understand

Hello Guru's

I have this brand new Mac Pro and a brand new p2 store hardrive. I filmed a benefit show yesterday and go to my MAC and connected the p2 store to my MAC. Nothing happened. I Then went to the manual of the P2 store drive to find out that the p2 store will not connect to the new MAC 's with intel inside. What has theis world come to. I thought this would be the last thing i would have trouble with.


I need some guidance.

First I have a question. Did you test your workflow before your shooting gig? If not, it's a great rule of thumb to follow...especially when dealing with new gear.

I am currently using my P2 store with an Intel equipped MacBookPro...so I don't think your comment about the P2 store not working with an Intel Mac is correct. Have you verified that you have switched the P2 store to Mac and that it's not set up for PC use? Have you checked for proper drivers, etc?

first question:

Did you set it to the Mac mode? It ships in the PC mode.
