Simple P2 Store question

OK I have two 4 gig cards which work great with the P2 store. But I am considering getting an 8 gig card. Can I use both 4 and 8 gig cards on a P2 store at the same time? So basically it will make different sized partitions?

Is that right?

Hello Steve,

The 8GB card will work fine with the 4GB cards on the P2 Store at the same time. The only difference is the 8GB card gets split into two 4GB partitions.

I need to make a correction to what I said. For an 8GB card, it will put the content in one partition, however, there will be two sets of content files. It will split them into two 4GB segments. When the P2 Store will mount, you will notice that it will have less drive letters than it normally does.

Either way, it's pretty much the same.
