I've read enough about the skater dolly... what needs to be addressed is a portable flat surface solution for the skater. Currently i have a collapsable stand that butterflys out and secured with a chain. I place my a 4' section of MDF on it, and i'm ready to go. Varying the height of the stand is easy.
Hard to explain, i know. sorry, no pictures. But am curious as to what solutions people are using.
Initially i was thinking of putting a tripod quick release
on one end, mounting it to a tripod - then grabbing the other side with a c-stand.
