Is there a way to make your own rain cover? I really don't have the money to buy one so I was wondering if there was a way to make one.
Thanks

Hmm, I've seen on set photos and footage on big productions and they use engineer's rain coats rather often (trashbag with holes cut in it)

though they're willing to risk it, I used it once or twice. Whenever I tried to shoot anything in Scotland, clear skies or no there would be intermitten bursts of rain with no notice... Pretty funny filming a bannockburn recreation when the field is too muddy for horses..

One option I've thought of playing with is a clear perspex or such Computer case, you could easily get a cheap one in various sizes, and with a work on a mount and sealed filter/lens hole I think you could get away with it..

I wouldn't chuck it in the ocean but with some sealing and some elbox grease you should have a rain box... just my two cents..

That sounds like a good idea. I like the trash bag, its free/cheap cuz my rents have em and easy. Im not gonna be chucking it in the ocean either. I would kill my self if i did that.
