Los Angeles Area Pooled Resource List -- Who is shooting here?

I was just curious to find out who is shooting in and around Los Angeles.

Had this crazy idea that it would be cool to make a list of all the DVXUsers shooting here so we could have one central place to go to to find help on our productions. A place to pool our resources and help each other out.

So if you have something to contribute like time, locations, production experience, writing, music, cinematography, editing, acting, equipment, etc. Whatever you are willing to add to the mix, big or small, list it here.

I'll start. If you are shooting on weekends, I'm available to come do production stills photography for your film.

Tommy. Nope. Not yet. If i create a thread, i'll never get anything done. :) So, alas, i'll just wait till I get more things solidified. It's out there man. way out there this round.

Unless im missing something with the whole "China Balls" thing...this seems kinda dodgy to me. So I'm just going to sit down and watch.

China balls are great for any project me thinks. (well, that's my solution to all lighting kits.) :) I've got 3 of them. one jumbo and two smalls. The small ones tend to give out more light and the fatty is a nice soft glow. (with dimmer switch for the extreme mood lighting with the ladies)

it's nothing specially really. Just poor filmmaker tools for those of us unfortunate to not have a 600watt arri fresnel stashed neatly in our utility closet.

StormFactory, I've said it before but each time I see your banner I am reminded how much a difference good composition makes. I wish they had a contest for "Best Banner" as you would definitely be in contention for the win. Also, I gotta admit I love Edgen's too. Interesting color for the iris.

I'm in Redlands, then Whittier, then Redlands, then Whittier . . . ahhh the California commute. I shouldn't complain it gives me plenty of time to think up new ideas for scripts.

So anyway I know nothing about anything but would be more than willing to help out so I can learn. Mainly a writer who wants to learn to film.

Lrdmora, If you'd like to come crew with us in January send me a PM. Since we're shooting in Upland it's a quick trip on the 10 (that may be an oxymoron itself I suppose)... but anyway it would be a relatively painless trip for you. We'd love to have you and we have one hell of a crew assembled.
