Can you get a shutter speed that is 1/12 sec considering you can get to 12 frames/sec mode as the lowest frame rate?
I cannot get the shutter speed to get below 1/24.

You should try going into the degree shutter...the one that says 180db on it. You can adjust the shutter in the menu. Its the only shutter adjustment I use now.

Yes you can get 1/12 second, but you have to be in Video Cam mode (IIRC).
If you use the "frame rate hack" and a 350-degree syncro-scan shutter you can get exposure times as long as 1/2 second.
