would it be a good idea to lower this if shooting in low light/nightclub?
with/without slow shutter speed
pal 25 fps SD

sure, why not? I have never shot in a night club, but depending on the lighting, and look you want. I have a club shoot soon, and I am going to do tests before the shooting. I suggest doing test in the lighting envirment first. Would love to see a frame grab when you are done.

The HVX shows more noise in a low light situation. It loves light. The more the better.
Dropping your master Ped in a low light situation will help mask some of that.

It'll give you deep blacks and if the talent is lit well, it'll look awesome.

but what if you wanna help add some light to a dark situation should the mp go up or down?
