Shooting in 720p 24pN mode.
What is a good shutter setting for normal cine like results?
1/24? or shutter off?

Shutter Off, or 1/48, or 180 degrees in Film Cam mode. Many of us prefer the look of 200 degrees.

Vote for 200 degrees :) - less stutter and 1/3 to 1/4 of a stop of light increase.

How do you get 200 degrees with the HVX? Is that using synchro scan?

I don't see a 1/48 or 200 option when I'm in 24pN Film Mode...(?)

1/48 and 200 degrees are both in the syncro scan menu; which one you get depends on whether you've chosen video cam or film cam mode.
