FS100 runs fine controlled atop the HVX200 while no time code count displays on the HVX LCD screen. Should the HVX display the Firestore's TC readout? Am I missing a setting on one of these units?

If the HVX200 is simply in camera mode without recording to P2 card and TC is set to RecRun (on the camera), you will not see FS-100 TC in the HVX viewfinder. If you set the camera to Free Run TC mode, the FS-100 to EXT TC and switch the FS-100 DISP button to TC 720p/1080i display mode, you will see the same TC, but that is basically FS-100 recording the TC being output by the HVX.
I am quite sure that the TC display on the HVX shows only the TC it is generating (either RecRun or FreeRun) when in cam mode.
