Audio .mxf files

I don't know if this is silly, but what do I do with the extra Audio mxf files that get captured with the FS-100?

I don't know how to convert it to wav. And I don't really need it , I think.

Anyways can someone educate me on this audio file.

I am not sure about the fs100, but I would think if you dont need it, it might still be wise to back up, just in Case you might in the future? Nonetheless I think that if the file size is small enough that is what I would do.
