25P or 25PN mode -- which is superior?

I understand the HVX shoots in PN mode.

Which produces a better quality video -- 25P or 25PN?

Also, under what circumstances would you shoot in 25PN (as opposed to choosing 25P)?

Its the same quality,
but 25pn gives you double of recording time, as it records only the active frames..!(this goes back to the varicam and its recording mode).

Youd choose 25pn also to use the different framerates..give it a try and get happy...!
