When I am recording with a Wireless Lava mic should I set it to Line or Mic?
What is the difference?

Depends on the receiver -- some function at mike level, some at line level. I believe you have a Sennheiser G2 (as do I), and that uses Mic. Also make sure that phantom power is off.

Test out the levels too. The G2 has a sensitivity setting, and it's way hot for a DVX out of the box. I've got mine set to -10dB.
